Public register help

No images shown for emblems

A Registration is the recording of an emblem generally granted by recognized heraldic authorities of other sovereign countries. Therefore, the images of these emblems are not generally created or copied by the Heraldic Authority.

A Confirmation generally records that an emblem previously granted may be used by a recipient under a new legal name. Therefore, the images of these emblems are found on another page of the Public Register. See the additional information on the recipient at the bottom of the page under the tab "Blazon, symbolism & history".

A Supplementary Letter Patent notes additions and corrections to the documents previously recorded in the Public Register. No new images of emblems are produced.
