Badge
The open book represents training and the pursuit of knowledge. The crossed swords are taken from the badge of the Canadian Army. The wavy white bars represent the sea and the maritime location of the Centre. The four bars represent the Atlantic provinces. Dark red is the colour of the 5th Canadian Division.
Motto
This Latin phrase means “Supporting the Atlantic soldier”.
