The blue and white design evokes Mr. Allbon’s paternal great-grandfather’s birthplace of Croydon, Sussex, which also uses such a heraldic fountain in its crest. The swords represent his willingness to serve strongly and with honour. The colours of the roundel allude to the arms of the Municipality of Clarington in which he serves as a police officer.
