Badge
Green is the colour of the 4th Canadian Division. The tower represents strength as well as military fortifications and infrastructure. The cogwheel indicates engineering. The tower, cogwheel, background and motto are taken from the badge of the 2 Area Support Group, the predecessor unit.
Motto
This Latin phrase means “We sustain the arms”.
