Badge
The blue field, triangle and torch are taken from the primary badge of the Training Development Branch of the Canadian Armed Forces. The Royal Crown represents service to the Sovereign. Wings, the laurel wreath and the Royal Crown are common features of the trade and occupational badges of the Canadian Armed Forces.
