The camera iris and the triangle, symbolizing a prism, represent the work of an Imagery Technician. The Royal Crown symbolizes service to the Sovereign. The frame composed of one or two wings, a laurel wreath and the Royal Crown is common to all trade and occupational badges of the Canadian Armed Forces.
