The flintlock pistols represent a Military Police Officer as well as the Military Police. The Royal Crown symbolizes service to the Sovereign. The badge frame composed of one or two wings, a laurel wreath and the Royal Crown is common to all trade and occupational badges of the Canadian Armed Forces.
