The pipe wrenches represent the work of a Plumbing and Heating Technician. The Royal Crown symbolizes service to the Sovereign. The frame composed of one or two wings, a laurel wreath and the Royal Crown is common to all trade and occupational badges of the Canadian Armed Forces.
