An ounce sejant Argent holding in the mouth a scroll Or and resting the dexter paw on a shield Azure;

Symbolism

Arms

The discs with stars on a white background are taken from arms borne by Major Till’s English ancestors. The scroll alludes to his profession as an accountant, whereas the wings evoke his career in the Royal Canadian Air Force.

Crest

This crest has long been in use by English bearers of the surname Till. The scroll from the arms was added for Major Till.

Motto

This Latin phrase means “Trust and work.”
