Symbolism
Badge
The Canadian Heraldic Authority does not have confirmed symbolism for this emblem. The following comments are hypotheses only. The wreath references the Provincial Institute of Textiles, one of the college’s predecessors. Its colours may allude to those of the medicine wheel, which is an important element in many Indigenous Peoples’ cultures. The moose and trillium repeat the symbolism of the Crest.
