Symbolism
Arms
The blue lion on the gold stripe is derived from the coat of arms of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, and refers to Mr. Allik-Petersenn’s Baltic German heritage. The tower represents the manor owned by his paternal grandfather.
Crest
The castle with two towers represents the manor owned by Mr. Allik-Petersenn’s paternal grandfather, as well as the manor leased by his paternal great-grandfather. The disc with blue and white wavy stripes symbolizes a spring of water, which is what the surname “Allik” means in Estonian.
