Symbolism
Badge
The design for this badge is based on an emblem used for many years by the Association. The Royal Crown is a mark of honour used by police forces in Canada to indicate the role of the police in upholding the Crown’s law. The maple leaf identifies the Association’s national character. The balance is a symbol of justice.
