Symbolism
Arms
The arms are based on the blue field and three white strawberry flowers (fraises) of the Chief of the Clan Fraser, represented by a five-leaved figure. The antelope's head alludes to Mr. Fraser's service in the RCMP, having been stationed in K Division (Alberta), which uses an antelope as its badge.
Crest
The cherry tree has been chosen as a symbol for education that alludes to Mr. Fraser's experience as an instructor in sociology and first aid. The strawberries echo the crest of the Chief of the Clan Fraser, which has a strawberry plant. The wild roses refer to the province of Alberta.
