Arms
The main charges, the wall, lion, and ring, are taken from the arms for Prawdzic and honour Mr. Pakosh’s Polish ancestry. The prairie lily is the official flower of Saskatchewan where the Pakosh family settled. The three wheat sheaves stand for Mr. Pakosh’s farming heritage and for his three children.
Crest
The trefoils coronet honours Mrs. Pakosh’s Irish ancestry. The red lion is taken from the provincial arms of Saskatchewan.
Motto
PRAWDA, meaning “Truth” in Polish, is a pun on the name Prawdzic.
