Symbolism

Differenced Arms for Neil Carl Larsen, son of Carl Anders Larsen

The arms of his father are differenced by replacing the longship in the base with a silver globe, symbolizing the international outreach of his work and interests. In his crest, the coronet erablé is altered so that the maple leaves alternate with fleurs-de-lis, representing his French citizenship and honouring his wife's nationality.
