Symbolism

Differenced Arms for Dana Albert Larsen, son of Carl Anders Larsen

The arms of his father are differenced by replacing the longship in the base with a silver oak tree, roots displayed. This is a reference to the tree of life, to his work, and to the concept of honouring the earth and preserving forests. It also refers to the ancient and magical properties of the oak which are a part of the British tradition and heritage.
