Symbolism

Badge

This badge is the same as that granted in 1990 by the Chief Herald of Canada but with a different annulus. The Hanoverian horse represents Mr. Sprules’ connection to the raising of this breed of horse and alludes to the characteristics of courage, intelligence, and freedom. The crown represents his allegiance to both the Sovereign of Canada and the Christian faith.
