The green disc with a sprig of three yellow maple leaves alludes to the arms of Ontario and thus refers to his position as a Justice of the Peace. The three leaves allude to “Sansei,” meaning a third-generation Canadian. The Samurai helmet symbolizes his descent from Samurai warriors.
