Per chevron embowed, in chief Vert billeté fesswise Argent, in base Argent fretty Sable;

Crest

A bald eagle close holding in the dexter claw a conifer branch fructed proper;

Supporters

Two harbour porpoises proper each issuant from barry crested Argent and Vert set on either side of conifer branches fructed proper;

Motto

WORKING TOGETHER AS ONE;


Symbolism

Arms

The design refers to fishing and the cannery as the foundation of the community. The lower part resembles a net being drawn up, and the white shapes in the upper part symbolize cans and thus the historic site of the North Pacific Cannery. The green colour is a reference to the natural setting of the community.

Crest

Bald eagles are a prominent feature of local natural heritage, and the conifer branches refer to the forestry industry.

Supporters

The porpoises are a local sea mammal, after which the geographical feature Porpoise Harbour is named. The branches further the reference to the forestry industry.
