The cross is chosen to represent Mr. Maestris faith as a Roman Catholic. It is coloured gold with a blue cross, relating the design to that of the Arms. “Potent” is an ancient word for “crutch” and describes a T-shape. This badge also alludes to his occupation as a police officer and the supportive role he plays in the community.
