Arms

The blue field represents infinity. The three points of the triangle represent the physical, the intellect, and the spiritual. The thistle alludes to Mrs. Gray’s maternal Scottish heritage. The key symbolizes knowledge. The ten stars represent her ten descendants.

Crest

The celestial crown represents an individual’s journey towards the unlimited spiritual existence. The falcon’s head alludes to Mrs. Gray’s paternal ancestors’ arriving from Iceland to begin a new life in Canada.
