Symbolism
Arms
The tools are those of a carpenter (joiner) to represent the occupation of Professor Stolarik’s ancestors when they acquired the surname of Stolarik in the 16th century. The three roses allude to the county of Turiec in central Slovakia, the residence of the family in the 1930s and 1940s.
