Symbolism

Arms

The purple colour alludes to the eye colour that many in Ms. Pellerin’s family have when born. The unicorn represents the unicorns that she collects and is in memory of her grandmother who told her stories about them. The roses allude to the ones that her family grew.

Crest

The snake around the rod alludes to medicine and her work as a health care worker.

Motto

This phrase in Gaelic means “I will survive”.
