Symbolism

Arms

The “curtains” are presented as they would appear from a spectator’s vantage point, and represent Ms. Lauzon’s deep interest in theatre as well as her troupe, the Adaray. The elongated commas symbolize the movements of dance, another art form that Ms. Lauzon has practiced for many years. The fact that there are three evokes the importance of family ties.

Crest

The dolphins are Ms. Lauzon’s favourite mammal and represent her and her husband.

Motto

Meaning “Always have hope”.
