Symbolism

Arms

The shield, based on the arms of the Savoy region (red with a white cross), alludes to Mr. Savoie’s surname. The red colour evokes a sense of celebration of life. The bear is a symbol of courage and strength. The gold chain around its neck represents the constraints which one must overcome in order to shine.

Crest

To Mr. Savoie, the arm recalls an asymmetrical Japanese flower arrangement. The fan evokes the idea of protection. The cloud represents a constant and auspicious change.
