Insignia - Honour

The design of the bar is inspired by that of the overseas service bar to the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. The aircraft represents the heavy bombers used by Bomber Command during the Second World War, most notably the Avro Lancaster, the Handley Page Halifax, and the Short Stirling.
