Symbolism
Arms
The anchor represents Mr. Green’s naval service in Canada and the United Kingdom. The blue wavy bars allude to his naval service at sea. The lances symbolize his leadership position in The International Knightly Order of St. George – Canadian Corporation, as St. George is often depicted as holding a lance. The three discs represent the countries of England, Wales, and Canada and are symbolic of his heritage and places of residences.
Crest
The dragon and daffodil evoke Wales, the land of Mr. Green’s birth. The coronet of trillium flowers and sails symbolizes his residence in Ontario and avocation for the sea.
Motto
This Welsh motto means “Strong in body, open in mind”.
