Symbolism

Arms

The colours and the diamond shapes are inspired by the arms of the Penningtons of Muncaster in England.

Crest

The mountain cat is found in many Pennington crests. The maple leaf coronet pays tribute to Mr. Pennington’s wife’s Canadian background.

Motto

This Latin phrase means “The love of my country conquers” and is the traditional motto used by Pennington armigers.
