Arms

The blue diagonal stripe alludes to the Adriatic Sea, on which Mr. Ćorić’s city of birth, Dubrovnik, Croatia, is located. The quatrefoils, found on many buildings there, refer to Mr. Ćorić’s interest in his heritage. The crown illustrates his support for Canada’s constitutional monarchy, and the compass roses are a tribute to the seafarers on both sides of his family, in addition to reflecting his interest in antique maps.

Crest

Minčeta Tower, built in the Middle Ages on Dubrovnik’s highest point, is emblematic of lasting freedom.
