Symbolism

Badge

The badge features the national colours, red and white, enclosed within a ring of blue representing the air force roundel and the unit's pride as a truly Canadian air force unit. The service to the nation is underlined through the maple leaf, while the beaver is the most recognizable representation of Canadian military engineering and recalls the badge of the RCAF Construction and Maintenance unit. The motto refers to the requirement of the unit to deploy anywhere in the world.
