Badge
The maple leaves represent the Canadian Forces and the fact that information is received from and sent in all directions. The green field denotes the early days of the unified Canadian Forces. The key symbolizes protection of information, while the lightning bolt represents communication and electronic warfare. The device at the centre is composed of two circles from a goniometer, which represents the original supplementary radio system.
