Badge
The yellow glider with blue stripes is a characteristic aircraft of the Cadet Flying Training Centre – Eastern Region (CFTC East). The blue background represents the sky. The compass rose recalls the badge of the Regional Cadet Support Unit (Eastern), with which the CFTC East has ties. The stars allude to the heights mentioned in the Motto while their number refers to the three programs of the CFTC East: the Glider Pilot Scholarship, the Power Pilot Scholarship, and Advanced Aerospace.
Motto
This Latin prhase means “Freedom to the heights”;
