The Arms of Roman John Ciecwierz with a heart Azure replacing the middle spur rowel; this individual will inherit the Arms of the Recipient following his or her death;


Symbolism

Arms

The colour blue represents the qualities of truth and loyalty, as well as the sky and water, related to the activities of flying and scuba-diving. To Mr. Ciecwierz the chevron symbolizes faithful service, while the spur-rowells represent him, his wife and his daughter. The eagles allude to the Polish ancestry of his parents. The Maltese cross represents commitment to the work, ideals and service of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem and other charitable organizations.

Crest

The unicorn represents courage and perseverance, and holds an element from the arms to distinguish it.

Motto

Meaning “Lead where others follow”.
