Arms

The blue saltire, also known as the St. Andrew’s Cross, and the crozier and key are taken from the arms of the Diocese of Nova Scotia. The trees on the islands are also from the diocesan arms, and they indicate Prince Edward Island, the provincial arms of which feature four trees on an island. The paschal lamb is taken from the arms of the Diocese of Fredericton. The crown is taken from the arms of Oxford University, on which King’s is patterned.

This had been in use by King’s since at least 1870, and means "For God, law, King, people".
