Badge
The colour blue and the fleurs-de-lis are drawn from the badge of Land Force Quebec Area (LFQA). These elements represent the connection between 5 Area Support Group (5 ASG) and LFQA, to which the 5 ASG provides the support services needed to function. The nine fleurs-de-lis symbolize the services offered by 5 ASG. The castle represents the unification of all of the support services needed to ensure the well-being of the members of LFQA. The three towers symbolize the Area Support Units: Valcartier, Saint-Jean and Montreal.
Motto
SERVIR AVEC HONNEUR ET PERSÉVÉRANCE, meaning “To serve with honour and perseverance.”
