The hoist Or a sprig of three maple leaves Vert, the fly tierced in fess Vert, Argent four fleurs-de-lis Azure, and Gules;


Symbolism

Flag

The green, white and red colours in horizontal bands refer to the flag of the 1837-38 patriotes. The four fleurs-de-lis symbolize the Quebec flag. The maple leaf branch represents the maple leaves found on the flag made by the mother of the patriote Damien Masson of Saint-Eustache. The maple leaf was one of the symbols of French Canadians in the XIXth century. The colour gold symbolizes faith.
