Marie-Éden Lafond may use the arms of her parents combined on one shield of four quarterings, those of her mother, Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, in the top left and bottom right corners, and those of her father, His Excellency Jean-Daniel Lafond, in the top right and bottom left corners. She may also use either of these coats of arms alone, but with an assigned mark of difference: a three-point label for her mother’s arms, and a border of blue and yellow segments for her father’s arms.
