Symbolism

Flag

The colours of the flag are those used by the order. The gold colour, flanked on each side by a representation of the ribbon of the order, symbolizes the excellence and exceptional achievements that are recognized by the Ordre national du Québec. The blue fleur-de-lis in the centre of the flag represents the province.
