On a pellet edged with rope a fouled anchor Or, the whole ensigned by a naval crown proper;

Argent the Badge and a canton of the National Flag of Canada;

The fouled anchor has been in long use by the Navy League. The black disc distinguishes this badge from that of the Sea Cadets. 1895 is the year of the establishment of the League.
Flag
The canton of the National Flag of Canada recognizes the long-term national service that the Navy League is making in partnership with the Department of National Defence in training youth in naval skills.
