A standard, the Arms in hoist, the fly per fess Gules and Argent charged with the Badge between dexter the Crest and sinister an oak leaf argent and a trillium flower proper in pale all separated by two bends sinister Argent edged Or inscribed with the Motto in letters Sable;

Badge

A gavel and scroll in saltire Sable surmounted of a Griffin's head erased Or gorged with a Loyalist military coronet Gules;

Badge

The scroll represents Mr. Kennedy’s interest in records, and the griffin, a traditional guardian of treasure, represents the importance he places on safekeeping such records. The gavel reflects Mr. Kennedy’s interest in chairing meetings. The Loyalist coronet refers to Mr. Kennedy’s descent from United Empire Loyalist ancestors.
