Symbolism
Arms
Blue and white are colours Mr. Robicheau associates with sincerity and loyalty to family. The cross represents his forefathers’ Christian faith, and its diamond-shaped centre suggests strength and the ability to withstand the trials of life. The tower symbolizes the safety and protection offered by the home. It also alludes to Mr. Robicheau’s employment as a corrections officer.
Crest
For Mr. Robicheau, the horse represents hard work, courage and steadfast loyalty to the Canadian Crown. The Acadian Deportation Cross, a well-known monument at Grand Pré, represents his Acadian heritage.
Motto
This Latin phrase means “Strength in faith”.
