Symbolism

Badge

The red background and the white tower are taken from an emblem previously used by the Regional Cadet Support Unit (Central). The tower embodies strength and integrity while the wavy bands symbolize the region’s many lakes and waterways. The water and the colours red and blue represent the Royal Canadian Sea, Army and Air Cadet organizations respectively.

Motto

This Latin phrase means “Fostering youth excellence”.
