Symbolism

Badge

Green, yellow and white are the colours of the 38 Canadian Brigade Group, of which the 38 Signal Regiment is a part. The alternating colours represent the balance and complementarity of the military and civilian lives of the members of the Regiment. The figure of Mercury carrying the caduceus, the messenger of the Roman gods, represents the communication role of the unit and is the symbol of the former Royal Canadian Corps of Signals, out of which the regiment began.

Motto

This Latin phrase means “Loud and clear”.
