Symbolism
Badge
The compass rose is common to all of the badges of the Royal Heraldry Society of Canada. The white triangles represent the winter snow and ice and the mountains in British Columbia, whereas the green ones refer to the natural flora of the local area and the forests of the province. The wavy stripe represents the waters of the region, particularly the Fraser River which flows from the Rocky Mountains into Vancouver, the Branch’s centre.
