Symbolism

Arms

The design is inspired by arms used by other people named Vincent, a blue shield with three white quatrefoils. It has made it unique to Mr. Vincent by the addition of the central stripe, the colours of which refer to his career in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The lightning bolts refer to Mr. Vincent’s military service in the Communication Command of the Canadian Forces.

Crest

The coronet of maple leaves and western red lilies, the floral emblem of Saskatchewan, marks Mr. Vincent’s service as Aide-de-Camp to three Lieutenant Governors of that province. The bison marks his prairie heritage and his RCMP service (as it appears in the RCMP badge), and the crossed swords make a reference to his achievements in the RCMP.

Motto

SUCCESS THROUGH APPLIED EFFORT.

Badge
