Symbolism

Arms

The three hills allude to the municipality of Three Hills, Alberta, the location of the school. The central cross stands for the Christian faith, and the border symbolizes a framework within which the school offers education.

Crest

The acorns symbolize potential in the young to grow into strength through faith and patience, and the three hills allude to the location of the school. The dove is a symbol of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:16).

Supporters

The lamb and the lion symbolize Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God (John 1:29) and the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Revelation 5:5). The stone also represents Jesus Christ as a Christian’s foundation (Matthew 25:34).

Motto

This Latin phrase, meaning “Transforming lives,” identifies the purpose of the school, and is based on Romans 12:2: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
