The centaur is a creature from Greek mythology symbolizing virile strength. The millstone (meule in French) is also a symbol of strength that alludes as well to the family name of Mr. Desmeules.

Crest

The millstones recall the family name of Mr. Desmeules.

Motto

This Latin phrase means “To want and to be able to.”
