Symbolism

Badge

The badge features the national colours, red and white, within a ring of blue representing the air force roundel. The service to the nation is underlined by the red maple leaf, while the beaver is the most recognizable emblem of Canadian military engineering. The three wavy blue lines symbolize maritime flights.
