This Royal Cypher is Her Majesty’s personal device. EIIR stands for “Elizabeth II Regina,” the latter word meaning “Queen” in Latin. The Royal Crown, a stylized version of the St. Edward’s Crown, is a heraldic emblem of The Queen.
