The Arms of Robert Michael Culbertson debruised of a three-point label Or during her father’s lifetime; This individual will inherit the Arms of the Recipient following his death.


Symbolism

Arms

Red, white and blue are the colours of Mr. Culbertson’s favourite sports team, the Montréal Canadiens. They are also the colours of Jarvis Collegiate Institute, Toronto, his secondary school. The dovetailed chevron refers to Mr. Culbertson’s participation in Habitat for Humanity and Volunteer Builders. The chevron itself alludes to a Masonic square, used by the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, and alludes to his time as a Worshipful Master of Coronati Lodge #520.

Crest

The wolves represent family, because the wolf pack takes care of its members. They also are a canting reference to Mr. Culbertson’s use of grey.wolf as a nom de plume.

Motto

These are desirable qualities for any person to possess.

Badge

The hazelnut has been used as a symbol for wisdom from education. With the wings, it symbolizes the opportunity for uplifting, lifelong learning.
